Hi friends!
It has been a HOT minute since I’ve written an update. A lot has happened so i’ll try and fill you in!
First and foremost, I officially graduated high school! I technically finished in February, but I finally had my graduation ceremony. It was such a sweet time to be able to celebrate my accomplishments and look back at everything seeing God in the little and big things. Despite having a very untraditional senior year and it looking nothing like I had planned, I am so thankful God had a different plan, a better one at that. It honestly just hit me about 2 weeks ago that I am officially done and moving on to a new chapter of my life. So many different emotions, but feeling an immense amount of peace knowing God has so much in store.
Second, I am now working 3 and like a half jobs LOL. It’s complicated but basically have two part time jobs, photography, and am doing an internship with FCA cherokee over the summer! So many exciting opportunities and God is providing in so many ways. Through all of these outlets, I have built so many relationships and have gotten to try to glorify God through it all!
Third, I have definitely been experiencing some intense spiritual warfare. I have been dealing with some health stuff and some other things. I will be okay though and am currently being treated for it and should be all good by training in August! So thankful that we found out about it when we did and now I can get my body in the best shape possible before the world race! Thank you Jesus.
On a more positive note, here are some praises and just good things that have been happening!
My team and I have been connecting so much! From questions of the days, vlogs, to being vulnerable with each other, I am so so grateful for the connections! It’s making me so excited for August.
Fundraising has been going so well! I am currently 79% funded and have about $4,085 to raise. The Lord is providing in so many ways, and I am blessed to see it. FCA has also offered to do a donation match with me! They said if I raise $2,500 they will match it to get me to my funding goal! Thankful is an understatement.
Lastly, here are some ways you can be praying for!
-Hearts of my team and I while the spiritual warfare gets more intense the closer we get to our launch date.
-Fundraising for our team as a whole.
-Peace of mind while preparing
-Wisdom and discipline in the word.
-I have some friends who are coming back to the states after being overseas on mission for 9 months. So please be praying for a smooth transition as the re-adjustment period can be a lot and incredibly overwhelming.
-I will be serving as a huddle leader at a FCA camp next week! Please pray for the campers and their hearts. That God would move in mighty ways. This is also my first year being a huddle leader for the older kids which is a little nerve racking but I know God will equip me!
